Omschrijving

Our client is a dedicated and highly-reliable global player on the market of turbo-engineering.

 

As a field service engineer you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance and overhaul of turbine installations according to agreed plans on site.

You will also
• Execute inspections of turbine installations.
• Prepare maintenance and overhaul reports based on assessment/inspections of installations and operating requirements.
• Manage preventive, maintenance and overhaul activities at rotating equipment (turbines, compressors, centrifuges, expanders, etc) on site.
• Manage local contractors and labour force according to agreed engineering specifications and plans.
• Control costs and output according to plan.
• Commission heavy duty gas and steam turbines.
• Monitor engineering and security requirements and specifications.
• Take care of the internal and external reporting.
• Act as advisor and vocal point of Sulzer for the client.
• Communicate intensively regarding progress and technical issues with engineers and specialists at Sulzer offices.
 

Vaardigheideisen

• Bachelor Mechanical Engineering.
• Customer oriented and stress-resistant personality with sense of tact and responsibility
• Upper-intermediate English knowledge (spoken/written).
• Preferable relevant working experience and expertise in the area turbine and steam turbines (rotating equipment).
• Flexible person.
• Result-oriented personality with ability to function independently as well as within a team.
• Creative approach and pragmatic attitude.
• Positive attitude travelling abroad and to move to and live in The Netherlands.
