International company providing turnkey rental solutions for temporary multi-MW power plants anywhere in the world.

 

For their International Projects business, client has the open position of International Project Manager.

 

The project manager has the lead of the planning, roll out, commissioning and execution of several international projects.
To do so the project manager will work closely together with mechanical en electrical engineers, sales and account management and on-site management. He will have direct contact with customers. 
 

• Support sales with practical information on project execution.
• Manage planning (spare parts, operation plan, resource planning, maintenance planning, etc.), according to the established reports & procedures;
• Make project budget calculation in relation to the contract in coordination with financial controlling.
• Manage progress of the (de)mobilization.
• Be the focal point for the project
• Ensure site is properly equipped (equipment, staff, planning, etc.)
• Coordinate troubleshooting in collaboration with Mechanical/electrical engineer and site managers
• Responsible for the day-to-day management of the site managers
• Responsible for cost control of the projects, being kept within budget. Equally on the revenue side, by limiting liquidated damages.
• Responsible for full QHSSE compliance on-site
• Evaluate overall performance of the project
• Define & implement lessons learned
• Accountability for quality of work, cost control, timing and level of effort including the submission of trip or engagement report.

Vaardigheideisen

• Relevant experience in Industry, Events and Utility in an international setting. 
• Graduate in electronic and/or mechanical engineering. 
• Project engineering and Project management experience for 5 years or more.
• Indebt knowledge of the English language, additional language is a plus. 
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Proficiency in mathematics and figures. 
• Good level of IT literacy: MS Project Office, MS Office, EXACT.
• The ability to perform under pressure while being flexible, creative and independent.
• Ability to travel extensively abroad (25%-50%) and a 24/7 mentality.
