Omschrijving

The Contracting & Engineering Manager is responsible for the sales results (turnover & margins), the overall sales process and the account/market development of the Contracting & Engineering activities. You will act on the bases of a short and medium term business/sales plan. Therefore, you need specific market knowledge, not only of contracted business solutions at existing clients but also of new markets and other business opportunities. You take initiative to explore the market for new business. You develop sound business relationships which lead to long term service contracts or new projects. Internally you keep your (global) stakeholders informed about your proceedings and possible needs for support. You work together with several disciplines. You will be based in the South of The Netherlands. You will be a member of the global sales team 'Contracts & Engineering' as well of the sales team in The Netherlands.
 

Vaardigheideisen

1. MSc/BSc with a technical specialism.
2. Seasoned sales and solid contracting experience in a mature technical business environment.
3. At least 5 years with capital goods, service agreements and contract management.
4. Preferably within an international setting and specific knowledge about Contracting & Engineering.
5. Knowledge about rotating equipment would be advantageous.
6. High level of independence, flexibility, pro-activity and willing to travel extensively (> 50%).
7. Strong drive to achieve results with a clear understanding of value added sales within large companies.
8. Creative business person with excellent negotiation skills.
9. Fluent in English and preferably Dutch. French and German, would be advantageous.
