Sales Support & Bid Manager, International Projects

Omschrijving
The Sales Support - Bid Manager is responsible for the internal coordination and offering of IP Sales projects. The incumbent orchestrates the creation of the technical/ commercial solution to the (potential) customer, as well as ensuring compliance with customer requirements and company value proposition. Is reporting to and working closely with Sales Manager/ Sales engineer of International Projects.
- Chase up the actual commercial leads: to gather basic information and send to potential customers. When commercial lead become concrete/relevant, hand over commercial & technical solutions to Sales engineer/manager for further negotiation;
- Challenge/respond to the (potential) customer, probing and questioning in order to understand real customer need;
- Co-ordinate inputs from internal and external stakeholders to identify all commercial and technical risks within the bid process, with the formulation of risk allocation and mitigation strategies;
- Responsible for Project Costing with support of PM/HR/Legal/Finance and point out gaps, risks, difficulties and opportunities;
- Evaluate timely cost structure for the project; analyze potential cost savings, hurdles and challenges;
- Present all elements of the quotation/proposal in a complete, coherent document, presentable to the customer and in line with tender /proposal requirements;
- Ensure all Energyst’ bids are consistent from a technical and commercial point of view
- Create the RRB form and all other relevant documentation;
- Prepare and participate in RRB review board meetings - upon request, in support of Sales Manager;
- Provide leadership, expertise, guidance and co-ordination to the bid team, ensuring the delivery of innovative and successful bids;
- Ensure that bid activity meets both company standards and external regulatory requirements with respect to QHSE to ensure the company's obligations and policies in these areas are fully complied with;
- Follow up any contractual changes;
- Update Sales database (EXACT);
- Support marketing activities;
- Support Sales Manager in setting up/ adjusting the IP Sales Strategy.
Vaardigheideisen
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar role within the same industry (power, rental, generators, temperature control -heating/cooling);
- University/master degree or its equivalent in (mechanical/electro technical) engineering is a strong plus;
- Has in-depth knowledge of the English language. French and Spanish are a strong asset
- Other relevant knowledge or skills:
- Structured and well organized. Able to adhere the right sense of priority;
- Possess strong Project Management skills;
- Strong Time Management skills;
- Strong resilience;
- Has excellent, influencing and relationship building skills ;
- Proven drive and ability to sell ideas/opportunities;
- Experienced in working within flat organizations & working with senior professionals/managers;
- Knowledge of rental business and/or Power Generation business is a plus;
- Strong presentation skills;
- Good understanding / knowledge of P&L accounting
- Strong strategic problem solving skills (comfortable with complex analysis)
- Ability to work effectively in a complex environment
- Ability to react fast and posses right sense of urgency needed in the rental market
